Stage 4 Nozzle Improves ‘Residual Asset Values’

In gaining Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification of the Stage 4 MD80 exhaust nozzle, the manufacturer, Goodrich Aerostructures, indicated the modification would improve "the aircraft's useful life and residual asset values" by ensuring compliance with new Stage 4 limits in both Europe and the United States.
