Sale of B757s to VIM-Avia Provides Relief for Values, But Obstacles Remain

The disposal of 12 ex-Thomas Cook PW2000 powered B757s to VIM-Avia of Russia in a deal that reportedly involves approximately $126 million represents an important fillip to the market, though the issue of import taxes has not yet been fully resolved.
