Parked Aircraft Loses Significance to Value Behavior

The relevance of parked or stored aircraft to used value behavior has lost its significance as aircraft have reached the end of their service lives rather than be prematurely consigned to the parking lot. As of the end of December 2010 the number of aircraft that were listed by Jet Information Services as being parked – not including those undergoing maintenance, modification or conversion – amounted to 1,945 only marginally lower than the end of the previous year.
