The market for the Fokker 100 has experienced a variety of fortunes over the course of the last decade and for a time it seemed that there was little prospect of any improvement. While there remain significant problems, the recent past has seen some improvement such that placement is not viewed as impossible; indeed, the number of operators has seemed to increase rather than contract.
