At the start of the year, the market for the CRJ200ER seemed bleak. A number of operators had earlier sought to divest themselves of the type leading to an increase in availability. Values experienced s sharp fall as a result. However, during the course of 2006, the number being advertised has dissipated and while the backlog may be none existent, the type has regained some of its lost reputation. The improved market conditions has allowed values a measure of recovery, something that seemed a remote possibility nearly a year ago.
