Chinese Lessor Places Major Order for B737 MAX 8 Jets

In late September, CDB Aviation Lease, a division of China Development Bank Financial Leasing, placed an order for 50 Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets. This marks the largest order from a Chinese buyer since 2015, when China Southern Airlines made a similar purchase. Deliveries are scheduled to occur between 2028 and 2031, reflecting a significant commitment from one of China’s prominent aircraft lessors.
