B747-8I Development Keeps Lid on A380 Pricing

The pursuit of a stretched version of the passenger B747-8, currently under development but lacking a launch customer, is likely to lead to sustained discounting by both Airbus and Boeing, to the point where residual values of both models will be adversely impacted.
