Aircraft Asset Assessment – The B767-300

April 24, 2023

Market Presence. The B767-300 has no market presence. The absence of orders and deliveries within the last two decades increased the expectation of difficult trading conditions. There is no demand for the type. The age profile of the B767-300, stretching back to 1986, and thus representing 37 years of service, clearly indicated that disposal and replacement would occur sooner rather than later. The payload/range of the B767-300, while ideally suited to dense intra-regional sectors, was of little use to operators seeking to maximize flexibility on intercontinental routes.
