The values of newly delivered aircraft have been variously reset over the last four decades because of significant downturns with the Covid Event being no exception but for narrowbodies at least, there is an expectation that the value of most new narrowbodies will return to pre-downturn levels more quickly than in the past partly because of inflationary pressures.
