Definition of Next Generation CFM56 Could Impact A320 Residuals

While the substantial order from Air Berlin provides short- to medium-term reassurance for A320 values, the greater definition of technical advances by engine maker CFM(I) provides an indication that residual values for both the A320 and B737 families may weaken in the latter years of this decade.
