Market Presence. The production of the -600 is set to increase once more which indicates that the regional market may be improving. But there are still nearly 140 -600s that are inactive even as over 420 are now active. The market for the -600 is perhaps still fragile with some 50 of the inactive -600s being on operating leases. The values of new -600s has increased slightly such that they are only some ten percent lower than pre-Covid levels. There are a good many -600s on the market with an operating lease viewed as a means of disposal. The rentals therefore need to be realistic. The aircraft is no longer so youthful and lease rentals need to reflect such age. NAC and ATR are among the lessors of the aircraft although AVAP, Castlelake, Aergo Capital, Investec, Injet Leasing and Solenta Aviation also feature.
