Market Presence. The value of freighters during the Covid event have remained largely unchanged, contrasting sharply with the passenger examples. The extent of reduction has been no more than ten percent when compared to the last quarter of 2019 such that in real terms, the decline is perhaps less than five percent with some types not falling at all. Going forward, the values of freighters are expected to soften slightly given the change in demand dynamics but not to any great extent. This will ensure that the conversion process remains economic with a discernible increase in conversions.
