A350 XWB Signals Difficulties for A340 Family Residuals

The announcement of the upgraded A350 XWB on the first day of the Farnborough Air Show provided on paper a viable competitor but also signaled the de facto end of the A340 product line in the coming years suggesting that residual values will now need reassessment.
